Fleurotica 2010 at Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago

Where the Wild Things Are..... was the theme for this years Fleurotica at the Garfield Park Conservatoryand the team at Christine Noelle Design and Dilly Lily unleashed their inner wild for all to see. There were several of Chicago's best florists there to show off their creative talent and botanical designs. Our dresses were designed using Dendrobium, Phalaenopsis and Cattelaya orchids in combination with a variety of foliage, mosses and roots to add texture and topped off with a set of naturally shed antlers gathered from a family farm to complete the look. We loved our Factor Women models Jamie and Aubrey! What a night, what a show!

Fleurotica teaser on ABC 7 News

"Where the Wild Things Are" is the theme this year for Fleurotica at the Garfield Park Conservatory on March 26th in Chicago. We created this woodland inspired hat for this mornings ABC 7 News at 11. This botanical runway show will be a collaborative event between the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance, Chicago-area florists, local fashion designers and students from the School of the Art Institute’s Millinery Department. This is just a teaser of the many innovative and creative designs that will surely be present on the runway.

Where flowers and fashion meet- we will be there! Hope you can join us.

Participating florists include Fleur, Dilly Lily, Tulipia, Flower Child, A Stem Above, Blum Garten and Scarlet Petal. Featured fashion designers are Alice Berry Designs, Tennille White, Vaute Couture, James Del Colon Designs, Lauren Lein Limited, K Thammavong Couture, Inc., LuDia Couture Designs, Mountains of the Moon, Wolfbait & B-Girls, and Bates Designs. So exciting!
